Alex is back after a week of Ottawa Senators Trade Deadline action! While it was a quieter one than usual, there is still plenty to talk about. To help him discuss things, Alex is joined by Steve on Sens! The two start by taking a look at the Mike Reilly, Erik Gudbranson, and Braydon Coburn trades. Dissecting each one and also giving their thoughts on how well Dorion did.
From there, they discuss Victor Mete, his claim, and where Ottawa goes from here. Talking about both the blueline and also the development of players up front this season. Looking at why it is so important for Ottawa in this rebuild that guys like Alex Formenton, Josh Norris, and Drake Batherson have all taken a firm step forward. Additionally, they quickly discuss who Ottawa could lose to Seattle in this expansion draft and what they would pay to move Nikita Zaitsev and his contract to Seattle. Alex is back after two weeks off due to school and a lack of Ottawa Senators games. However, he now has lots to discuss as there have been plenty that has happened since the last episode. Joining him for the second time is Trevor Shackles of the Silver Seven Sens. The two start by discussing the Christian Wolanin trade and why it was a disappointing end to his Sens tenure. As well as what Michael Amadio could bring to Ottawa.
From there, they preview what is in store for Ottawa at the NHL Trade Deadline coming up. Going through who they think will get traded and discussing who they would be trading if they were the general manager of the team. Discussing some potential free agents and whether Ottawa should keep them or sell them for a draft pick. After that, they quickly look at Ottawa's goaltending situation again, and what to make of it.

The two take a look at the Ottawa Senators goaltending issues with Matt Murray and Joey Daccord going down. As well as what they expect from Filip Gustavsson and Anton Forsberg going forward while the Ottawa Senators goaltending gets healthy.

The two highlight each game this past week, which featured some very strong performances and some other not-so-strong ones too. From there, they discuss the Ottawa Senators defence core at length. Including what they've seen in Thomas Chabot, Erik Brannstrom and more so far. As well, Chris and Alex discuss why they feel the Sens should target some defencemen this free agency too. Prospects are never a sure thing.

Alex is back with a lot to talk about per usual. This week, he has Beata from SilverSevenSens joining him! The two take a look at a number of topics including the Sens Sickos and their results against the Montreal Canadiens. The results of which directly led to a Montreal Canadiens coaching change. Alex has his thoughts on why it may not change too much overall.
From there, they take a look at the two games against the Calgary Flames, one being a blowout in Ottawa's favour and the other one not so much. Discussing who they have liked and disliked, including Drake Batherson and his hot streak. They also discuss why sitting Erik Brannstrom makes no sense, especially when the alternative is Brayden Coburn. Finally, they take a look at some comments from former Senator Anthony Duclair and discuss what is wrong with the organization fundamentally that these had to come out. Talking about the importance of change, why it seems to be happening but way too slowly.

Alex is back after a very busy week of content. To help break everything down, he is joined by Matt Bosty! Matt had joined the podcast for episode two way back in the summer. The two break down the Ottawa Senators results, which included a 6-5 comeback victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. They also take a look at the Ryan Dzingel trade and what it means for the Sens.
The two get a little sidetracked and talk Sens past defencemen and also how important this next crop of prospects will be to the team. They then examine what they've seen out of the Sens goalies over the past couple of weeks and why it is much more encouraging going forward. Finally, they take a look at some listener questions which include what Ottawa might do a center going forward. Not just for this season, but the next three or four and where they see certain prospects slotting in.

Alex is back after the Ottawa Senators had a very busy week with lots of storylines. Some massives downs followed by some encouraging ups. To break it all down, he is joined by Nate, who is the managing editor for the Silver Seven Sens. The two take a look at different storylines surrounding the Senators. These include the play of Tim Stutzle and whether or not his poor numbers should be a concern. As well, they examine the Ottawa Senators goaltending and what the ride has been like with Matt Murray. As well as giving their opinions on what should be done about Marcus Hogberg going forward. Give him more time or let someone else have a shot?
Finally, they also discuss who has looked good on the blueline so far and which players might be forcing their way into the lineup going forward. They also discuss the Logan Brown situation and if it is a good or bad idea to send him back to the AHL for a week or two.

After another disappointing week of Ottawa Senators hockey, there are lots of things to break down. The Sens are now 1-6-1 on the season and have lost seven in a row. Today, Spencer Blake joins Alex as the two discuss what went wrong this week. They start by looking over each of the three games and what needs to improve. However, what all went right or is encouraging too. Players like Nick Paul, Drake Batherson, and even Nikita Zaitsev continue to impress.
From there, they take a look at the Ottawa Senators lineup decisions and if DJ Smith is on the hot seat. Spencer and Alex highlight reasons why he maybe should be, or why he isn't. As well, they discuss Pierre Dorion in the same light and the Sens use of analytics. Alex has worries it may not be the most ideal way they're being used. From there, they switch to some highlights from the series including the play of Nick Paul and Nikita Zaitsev.
Finally, they look ahead to tonight in what will be the return of Tim Stützle against the Vancouver Canucks. Alex is back and there are actual hockey games to discuss for once! For the first time, Alex can discuss the Ottawa Senators and their on-ice play. He is joined by Brandon of Sens Talk and the two take a look at the Toronto Maple Leafs review and their two-game series. Ottawa and Toronto took a split which Alex thinks is a solid start. The two discuss who they thought looked good in Ottawa's first two games this year. They also discuss who didn't look so strong and if they expect more from them or not.
From there, the two take a look at the line combos from today. Alex and Brandon discuss if they like or dislike them and what they would change. They also preview the next three games which are all against the Winnipeg Jets. Discussing why Ottawa has a chance to take some points here and what they need to do for success.
